I deleted social from my phone at the beginning of I deleted social from my phone at the beginning of December. It's been the best "life hack" I've done for myself in a very long time.

I'm freer, more content, and generally happier without it in my life right now.

I did feel called to share this today bc I'm horrified at the spread of QAnon, especially within the wellness community. I don't understand how someone could be a proponent of wellness and spirituality and also promote a conspiracy group with anti-semitic roots?

In addition to science and reason, I am a lover of the mystical. Give me all the crystals, energy healing, sound baths, and chakra cleansing. I also believe in questioning and reevaluating things as necessary. But there is a difference between healthy skepticism and paranoid radicalization, and it's scary to see that happening.

If anyone reading this has bought into the conspiracy theory of an elite leftist child trafficking ring, please consider channeling your energy into supporting Fair Trade that actually affects human lives, including the lives of children around the world. Commit to only buying Fair Trade chocolate, coffee, tea, and ethically farmed shrimp, for starters.
I've posted this paleo CRUSTLESS PUMPKIN PIE 🥧 I've posted this paleo CRUSTLESS PUMPKIN PIE 🥧 3 years in a row now, no shame! It's one of my favorites 😋

Here's how it goes:

1 can unsweetened pumpkin
¾ cup full fat coconut milk
¼ cup room temperature water
1 tablespoon gelatin
2.5 tablespoons unsweetened almond butter
Sweetener (monkfruit, stevia, maple syrup, etc)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
Optional: scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder

Pour water into a bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over top. Allow to bloom for about 1 minute.
Add coconut milk to a pot and warm over low heat. Once warm, whisk in the "bloomed" gelatin, allowing to dissolve completely. Then, mix in the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
Transfer the mix to blender and blend until smooth (30 seconds – 1 minute)
Pour mixture into small cups or ramekins and place in the refrigerator for at least one hour to set.
Once set, top with whipped cream/whipped coconut cream, and pecans, if desired.

10.16.19 ❤️ What a treasure your were. And sti 10.16.19 ❤️ What a treasure your were. And still are.

I'd started reiki training before you got sick. I had no reason to do it, other than the opportunity appeared in my life and it felt right.

I know now, that it appeared in my life so we could have the chance to get closer while you were still here. I'll never forget on one visit I held my hands over your heart and could feel it beating, and in that moment I felt so close to you. When I want to call you close to me now I shut my eyes and can feel that heartbeat again.

What a positive impact you made on so many. You taught us that our circumstances don't have to define our outlook on life. We can choose to shine brightly, even when things feel dark.

I would say "rest peacefully" but we know you're not resting! You're probably zipping around heaven with a huge smile on your face. Keep shining brightly, we will too ✨ xoxo forever ❤️
