Summer vacation is just getting started for us, (at least that’s how it feels) as we cram all of our beachy attire into suitcases for our long awaited trip to Greece. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it, but this trip is really special to K, and I’m just hoping I will be able to convince him to physically get on our return flight.

Besides trying to see how many pairs of shoes one woman can fit into one bag, here are a few things I’m into lately:

This water that I will be dipping myself into shortly, and this little nook I will stop in to adjust my strappy, Grecian sandals.

This little girl dancing and singing. So cute, and also a nod to Taylor Swift for writing lyrics that don’t make you cringe when little girls imitate them.

This lentil pasta. I eat lentils all the time, but this pasta may be my favorite form. And they only have one ingredient!

This restaurant in NYC that we are meeting a friend at for lunch during our layover. I haven’t even been there, and I ALREADY love it. The philosophy has won my heart, and the menu has me drooling.

Celebrating 20 years of Goat Lady Dairy. The best goat cheese, and I’d definitely recommend visiting on an open farm day.

The news that HARDEES is now serving a grass fed burger with no hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. I still ~~hate~~ dislike fast food and what it represents, but the fact that consumer demand has spurred a big change like this makes my organic loving heart happy.

And while we’re on the topic of fast food, McDonald’s will close more restaurants than it opens this year– the first time this has happened since the 1970’s. Depends on who you’re asking, but I’d call that a WIN for most.
