I picked up these bay scallops when they went on sale at my local supermarket.  When I got them home, I noticed they were described on the deli sticker as being “diver caught”.  That got me to thinking, its somebody’s career to dive into bays and collect scallops for us to eat.  So much goes on behind the scenes of our food production process that most of us don’t have a clue about. I always used to roast Brussel sprouts in the oven.  Last Thanksgiving, we quickly ran out of oven space and my little Brussels got the boot.  Determined to have them make it to the table, I threw on an extra sweater and headed for the grill.  They turned out amazing, the star of the Thanksgiving show, for sure.  Who thought grilled Brussel sprouts could steal the stage from the Turkey?
